Flower and conifer honey

Honey has a shade of brown tending towards dark amber, with a strong aroma and taste reminiscent of wildflowers. It is extracted from trees found in forests, including conifers such as fir and pine, and deciduous varieties such as chestnut and oak. In addition, the honey contains extracts from the surrounding foliage, including wildflowers, herbs, shrubs and grasses, which bloom and blossom in the forest where the beehives are located during the harvesting process.

Unheated or unpasteurized honeys tend to crystallize over time, which is a natural phenomenon. To restore honey to a liquid state, you can gently heat it using a bain marie with water at about 40°C for a short period of time. It is recommended to avoid using microwaves for this purpose.
